1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hebrew Time application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hebrew Time is an Android widget application that provides:

• An analog clock with Hebrew numerals (Gematria) that moves counter-clockwise
• Jewish calendar integration with holidays and parashat hashavua
• Precise halachic times (zemanim) calculation based on GPS location
• Shabbat and Jewish holiday notifications
• Multiple customizable clock skins
• Optional premium features available via in-app purchase

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Hebrew Time grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal Android device
• Use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Appropriate Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices from the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App

4.2 Location Data

The App requires access to your device's location to calculate accurate halachic times. By granting location permission, you acknowledge that:

• Location data is used solely for calculating sunrise, sunset, and related times
• Location data is stored locally on your device only
• No location data is transmitted to external servers
• You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings

5. In-App Purchases

5.1 Premium Features

The App offers optional premium features available for purchase through Google Play Billing. Premium purchases include:

• Access to all 5 clock skins
• Ad-free experience (if applicable)
• Support for continued development

5.2 Payment and Refunds

All purchases are processed through Google Play Store and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. Hebrew Time does not process or store any payment information.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Eliáš Sidon and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.1 Third-Party Libraries

The App uses the following open-source libraries:

• KosherJava - Jewish calendar and zemanim calculations (LGPL 2.1 License)
• Other Android open-source libraries as required

7. Accuracy of Information

7.1 Halachic Times Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: While Hebrew Time strives to provide accurate halachic times, these calculations are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon exclusively for halachic observance.

Users should:

• Verify zemanim with local halachic authorities when precision is critical
• Understand that GPS accuracy may vary based on device and location
• Account for local customs and minhagim which may differ from calculated times
• Ensure correct Israel/Diaspora settings for accurate holiday observance

7.2 No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eliáš Sidon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any inaccuracy in halachic times or calendar information
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues that may be transmitted to or through the App
• Any errors or omissions in any content

9. Updates and Modifications

9.1 App Updates

We may from time to time provide updates or modifications to the App. These updates may:

• Add new features or functionality
• Fix bugs or improve performance
• Update halachic calculations or calendar data
• Modify or remove existing features

9.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at privacy-policy.html. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will cease immediately
• You must delete all copies of the App from your devices
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiations between the parties
2. If unresolved, through the courts of Prague, Czech Republic

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eliáš Sidon regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
